How pricing works on Upsy

Total transparency, no surprises. Here's exactly how money flows on Upsy.

Workers set their own prices
Every worker on Upsy is an independent professional who sets their own hourly rate or fixed price. Upsy never imposes prices. The rate you see is set entirely by the worker.
Platform service fee — 18%
Upsy charges an 18% service fee on every booking. This fee covers:
  • Secure payment processing via Stripe
  • Worker identity verification
  • Customer support and dispute resolution
  • Platform maintenance and development
  • Insurance and protection for both parties
No hidden fees
The price breakdown shown before payment is the final price. No surprises. No hidden charges. What you see is what you pay.
Escrow protection
Your money is never paid directly to the worker. It is held securely by Stripe until your job is confirmed complete. If the worker does not show up you receive a full automatic refund within 24 hours.
Worker payouts
Workers receive 82% of every booking directly to their connected bank account within 2 business days of job completion. Upsy uses Stripe Connect to split payments automatically — no manual transfers, no delays.
Refund policy
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the job. Cancellation within 24 hours: 50% charge applies. Worker no-show: 100% automatic refund. Job quality dispute: contact team@upsy.be within 48 hours for full mediation and potential refund.
